AudioCodes Update
AudioCodes Gateways for Microsoft Unified Communications Go Live
AudioCodes has been working closely with Microsoft supporting the Microsoft Unified Communications vision, by enabling the connection of Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 and Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 into legacy PBXs and the PSTN.
AudioCodes has been involved with many Microsoft TAP (Technology Adoption Program) customers, which include some of the largest global enterprises.
In addition, AudioCodes has issued a press release announcing the general availability of “Basic Hybrid” gateways configurations for the MediantTM 1000 and MediantTM 2000 gateways.
We are pleased to announce that some of our TAP implementations have resulted in case studies which are now available for use with your customers. These case studies include the business benefits of using the AudioCodes Media Gateways along with the Microsoft Unified Communications solution, and quotes from the following customers:
To view the completed case studies please download from the Microsoft web site and from the AudioCodes Microsoft landing page . Additional case studies are currently in the pipeline and will be uploaded shortly.
We would like to share three customer quotes, taken out of these case studies. Feel free to share these and the full case studies with your potential customers:
Glentel: “Because Glentel wanted to implement software-powered voice over IP (VoIP) capabilities, it installed a mediation server and a Mediant 1000 gateway from AudioCodes. AudioCodes gateways provide high performance and voice quality, and they easily integrate with Microsoft software. The gateways can support Exchange Server 2007, Office Communications Server 2007, and Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) connections simultaneously. The gateway was easy to install, and it gave Glentel options for both analog and digital connections to the PSTN. As a result, the company could begin the pilot with four analog lines connected directly to the PSTN while it upgraded its existing PBX system.”
ConAgra Foods: “For connectivity, ConAgra Foods chose an AudioCodes Mediant 1000 gateway. “The AudioCodes gateway was viewed as a necessary step as we integrate multiple locations with Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007,” says Miller. “The AudioCodes product flexibility and features, as well as the fact that the gateway can support Exchange Server 2007, Office Communications Server 2007, and PSTN connections simultaneously, were key factors in our decision. We are pleased with the performance of the AudioCodes gateway and the ease of its integration with both existing phone switches and the Microsoft environment.”
Colorado State University: “CSU currently uses an AudioCodes Mediant 2000 VoIP media gateway to support its unified communications solution. AudioCodes gateways provide high performance and voice quality, and they easily integrate with Microsoft software. The gateways can support Exchange Server 2007, Office Communications Server 2007, and Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) connections simultaneously.
